Greene Farm Foods sees benefit of Macfarlane’s Reseal-it

The Reseal-it system has been applied to the full range of the Irish company’s cooked meats including sliced chicken, turkey and beef as well as its new ‘torn chicken’ range.

Macfarlane’s Reseal-it solution is described as an easy to open, re-closable labelling system, which allows consumers to easily open products and reseal them again, without the fuss of cling film or storage containers. The specialist in self-adhesive and re-sealable labels said that it ensures freshness and pack integrity while helping to prolong the life of the food product resulting in less food waste.

Green Farm Foods said it is seeing the benefits of Reseal-it without any capital investment at their own plant. The company uses the film with Reseal-it functionality that is already pre-applied at Macfarlane’s facility in Ireland. This option is newly available in Ireland due to Macfarlane’s continued investment in the Newtownmountkennedy plant.

Greene Farm is a family owned business, which roasts its meats at a state of the art facility in Ballygarvey using all natural ingredients to create a high quality range of cooked poultry and beef. The Greene Farm range using the Reseal-it system is available across Ireland and in some retailers in the UK.

Macfarlane labels also provides Reseal-it solutions for other leading brands across the UK, Europe, US and Canada on packs containing cheese, biscuits and cookies where consumers value the ability to open and re-seal the packs again and again.
